Using Stripe on beehiiv

beehiiv partners with Stripe for identity verification and as our payment processor. Depending on your monetization and acquisition strategies, you may interact with Stripe in multiple ways on our platform.

Logging out of your beehiiv account

When you're ready to log out of your current beehiiv session, you can do so by clicking on your profile icon in the upper right corner of your beehiiv account, then selecting Logout from the dropdown options.

Workspace, account, and publication setup

The Settings section of your account is the go-to place for anything involved with the setup of your workspace account or publications.

To access your publication settings: Click Settings in the bottom left corner of your account. If you have multiple publications, select the publication you wish to access from the dropdown menu at the top left, then make your settings selection.

Dashboard Resources

Your beehiiv account dashboard is your home for high level analytics and at-a-glance data right at your fingertips.

Newsletter

The Newsletter section is your home for creating, managing, and sending newsletter posts. It also includes your post templates, guest authors, content tags, and reports.

To access Newsletter: From the left panel dashboard, click Newsletter.

Using the Post Builder

The Post Builder houses the post editor and all the controls for customizing your newsletter posts.

To access the Post Builder: Open a new post draft by clicking on + New in the left panel. Or select an existing post or template to edit on your Posts page.

Additionally, anytime you're logged into your account, you can instantly start creating a new post by opening a browser tab and entering beehiiv.new. If you manage multiple publications, the new post draft will automatically open in the publication you've selected.

Post creation articles

The Post Builder contains 5 tabs at the top: Compose, Audience, Email, Web, and Review. It opens on the Compose page by default. The 5 tabs of the post flow are designed to guide you through crafting and publishing a post. Use the Next button to move between pages, or click on any tab to navigate directly to a specific stage.

Newsletter reports

The Posts report and Clicks report live under Newsletter in the left panel. You can also access your post analytics by clicking on any published post.

To access the Posts or Clicks reports: From the left panel dashboard, go to Newsletter, then select the report.

Website

The Website section is where you build and manage your publication's website. On July 15, 2025, we launched a brand new Website Builder that is now available to all plans. The new builder includes modern templates, enhanced design flexibility, and an intuitive drag-and-drop editor, making it easier than ever to build a beautiful, high-performing website directly within beehiiv.

While the Legacy Website Builder is still accessible for publications created before July 15, 2025, the New Website Builder is now the default experience for all publications created after this date.

To help you get the right guidance for your site, we've organized two sets of help articles: one for the New Website Builder, and one for the legacy version.

The Legacy Website Builder remains accessible for all publications created before July 15, 2025. However, as beehiiv continues to evolve, features available in the legacy builder may change or be deprecated over time.

Magic Links

Magic Links allow people to auto-subscribe to your publication from other newsletter platforms, initiating the signup process immediately upon clicking without directing them to your website.

To access your custom magic links: From the left panel dashboard, go to Subscribers > Magic links.

Magic Links are designed for email platforms and do not work on website browsers.

Automations

Automations allow you to build automated journey sequences that trigger based on subscriber actions or conditions — like welcoming a new subscriber or re-engaging inactive readers.
