How to add a profile picture as a newsletter subscriber
Want a fun way to stand out in the comments? You can upload your own profile picture, and it'll show up in your subscription preferences and anywhere you comment on newsletter posts. Haven't uploaded one yet? No worries, beehiiv gives you a colorful auto-generated gradient avatar in the meantime.
How to update your subscriber profile picture as a reader
- On the web version of any beehiiv newsletter post from a publication you are subscribed to, scroll to the comment section and click on your profile picture to upload a new pic.
- Or, open any beehiiv email newsletter from a publication you're subscribed to, then click on the Update your email preferences or unsubscribe here link in the footer of the post.
- Your subscriber preference center will open. Access the 3 dots menu in the Account profile section, then click Edit profile.
- In the modal that opens, click on your profile picture or the icon to upload a new pic. You can also update your email and your name here. Once done, click on Save to apply your changes.
Supported formats are JPEG, PNG, WebP, and GIF, with a maximum file size of 5 mb. The recommended size for subscriber profile pictures is 100x100 px.
